Meet the Piercer
Corey Torok
Owner/Head Piercer
Corey Torok (They/Them) has been a Professional Body Piercer for four years. Their dream has always been to open their very own piercing studio — a place in which people of all walks of life feel welcomed and accepted just as they are!
Corey graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in 2021 with an Applied Jewelry Professional diploma — a testament to both their dedication to continuing their education, and their never-ending fascination with gemstones.
In 2024, Corey traveled internationally to instruct a piercing seminar at BMXnet, a body modification conference in Berlin, Germany. They have also attended the annual APP (Association of Professional Piercers) Conference in Las Vegas to keep up with the latest health and safety standards, piercing techniques, and technology, and they are up to date on their First Aid, CPR and Bloodborne Pathogens Certificates.
Corey’s goal is to put you at ease during your piercing experience. Being a non-binary person, Corey is proud to provide their LGBTQIA+ clients with a safe environment to be authentically themselves. Coming from a background in childcare, helping walk younger clients through the process of getting their first piercings is an equally rewarding experience.
Outside of the studio, you can find Corey hiking out in the woods with their partner, snuggling their two black cats, playing bass guitar, crocheting, or attending a local punk/hardcore show!
